Three and a half hours later, and this view of our street had turned into this:
Yikes!
And yes, I spent my lunch hour-plus-change on the couch reading. I figure I've got the rest of the day to work, since I won't be going anywhere anytime soon!

Okay, I don't need any more reminders of winter. It's been in the teens here at night. Tomorrow it is supposed to finally hit 60. I feel like this is the winter that would never end. It's making me feel like I live in Narnia. Where is Aslan?!! LOL
Sorry you've had such a hard winter, Kathy! Ours was not, really. We had about a month of below-freezing weather around December, but then temperatures stayed in the 50s and 60s for most of February and March. (I can't remember what the weather was doing in January. Is that bad?)
Our big snowstorm ended that, though. It made it into the 50s one or two days afterward, but in general it's been 30s and 40s ever since, and it snowed again on Monday (though it melted again by the end of the day). It's supposed to snow again today, but so far, there's no sign of it!
So to answer your question, we've been keeping Aslan here for the past few months, but he escaped about a week ago. Maybe he left for Pennsylvania!
Kathy,
I WANT ASLAN BACK!
We just had thunder, lightning, snow, and hail -- all at the same time.
Third snowstorm in just under a week, and all three of them were kinda freak storms.
If this is Mother Nature's idea of an April Fool's joke, I'm not laughing!!
