Let me start out by saying that last week was not a terribly productive week. I've been pretty stalled with my novel, and have hardly worked on it at all. Partially as a result and partially because I had an idea I liked, I've decided to take a break from my novel series and work on something completely different, a "fun" story that I'm not actually investing with any plans for the future, this November during NaNoWriMo.
Anyway, here is last week's rundown.
1. Novels: No real work on "my novel," at least not the one that I usually mean when I use that phrase! I did, however, start some plotting and research for my NaNo novel idea last week. I worked on that Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
2. Blogs and websites: No progress here.
3. Other writing projects: No progress here.
4. Books: Still desperately need to finish Les Miz, but rereading The Phantom of the Opera (related to the inspiration for my NaNo novel idea) took precedence last week.
5. Horses: The kids and I went to the barn on Monday, when they had the day off of school, and we all rode. Besides my lesson Thursday morning on Panama, and V.'s lesson that afternoon on Rondo, however, that was about all the action the horses saw last week.
Looking back, I'm still not entirely sure where the whole week went. It was pretty busy, sure, but it seems like a blur now, when I try to figure out why I didn't get more done! Hopefully the same thing will not happen to this week... and NaNoWriMo starts next week!
