Despite my good intentions yesterday, and a slightly earlier bedtime last night, I still slept a bit later than I'd hoped today. That, combined with an unexpected minor crisis at the barn, ate most of my day.
Luckily I woke up this morning to a text saying that I didn't have to pick up the kids from school this afternoon, so I could afford to waste a little bit of time -- but I squandered rather more of it than I would have liked. It was solidly afternoon before I finally got to work on freelance marketing and client work.
It's Friday, though, so I'm not being too hard on myself. Plus, I did at least get a little done of what I needed to do, so the day wasn't a complete waste.
Next week, though, I plan on cracking down somewhat. It's time I got into a productive routine, now that I've got my mornings and early afternoons to myself again.
