Let's try this again.
It's not Monday morning, but rather late Tuesday evening, so I don't quite have the whole week stretched out ahead of me... but it's still a week (roughly) of possibilities. And I did have a fairly productive morning today, especially considering how late I woke up (something I am still working on).
So far this week I've enjoyed being able to hang out and work on my computer in the mornings, instead of rushing right out and going somewhere. I've been eating breakfast and working on freelance work, and haven't even gotten too distracted by social media.
The biggest challenge this week will be getting my sleep schedule back under control. I was already staying up late and sleeping late, but once I got sick that got even worse. I probably am still recovering, so my body needs the sleep, but I've been sleeping very late this week even though I'm trying to go to bed earlier.
The issue with that, of course, is that it messes up my plans for my daily schedule. I'm basically sleeping right through email, marketing, and most of blogging! Luckily I'm being reasonably productive (not entirely as productive as I could be, but it's a good start) with the rest of my time before I pick up the kids from school, but I still feel like I don't have enough time to get done what I want to do.
I'd love to get back to work on my novel this week -- my old writing critique group might be reviving itself, too, which provides additional incentive. I'm not sure I'll be able to manage both this week though -- best to set one goal for the week, to start waking up earlier, and make the novel next week's goal.
