Last week didn't turn out too badly, but I felt like I wasn't at home to work in the mornings as much as I should have been. Still, I got a lot done, which was mostly because I worked a lot in the evenings.
This week is slated to be a busy one, though, with not a lot of time to stay home and work in the mornings.
I had part of this morning at home (I had a dentist appointment that took longer than it should have because there's a new hygienist), and I'll have tomorrow morning too, but that may be it for the week. I have to meet Rondo's new leaser at the barn Wednesday morning so that she can ride for the first time with me there -- a sort of a trial ride, even though we're both planning on going through with the lease. Thursday the kids I nanny for have a noon dismissal and Friday they're off of school entirely, and their mom has asked me to work longer days than usual both days, so I won't have any time to spend on client work in the mornings then, either.
What it means is that I'll probably be spending a lot of my evenings this week working, and I may have to get creative to get in some barn time (except for Wednesday, obviously). I always hate it when my schedule fills up before the week even starts. It's disappointing to know that I won't be able to spend many mornings at home.
I have, however, been thinking a lot about my work habits, especially my tendency to get a lot done in the evenings. More on that soon...
