Camp NaNoWriMo started again on Wednesday, the first day of July. Although I was planning on participating, I still hadn't written anything -- or even decided what I was doing -- until Friday.
When my writers group met Friday night -- a NaNo write-in from 2011, actually, that has continued to meet year-round -- I started working on my blogs, and realized that I am woefully behind on blogging lately.
So I ended up deciding to spend at least part of Camp NaNo on blogging. I'd had the idea, last year I think, of writing a blog post every day for Camp. I actually think I'm going to stick to an overall word count goal, though, and try to write multiple blog posts every day. I do, after all, have multiple blogs.
Depending on how well this goes, I may throw a little bit of another project into the mix. I still have a nonfiction project from last November to finish, a novel from the previous year to finish, and I want to eventually get back to my Ruby Ransome series. I also should probably update my website copy and make some tweaks on a few of my blogs.
For now, though, blogging is the name of the game!
