It's been a long time since I've added to this blog, almost since I've added to any blog. Right now, with our world in total upheaval as our entire lives grind to a halt, seems like as good a time as any to pick up blogging again.
Or more importantly, as NaNoWriMo would like to remind us, to pick up writing again.
NaNoWriMo has come up with an ingenious way to use all our newfound free time: StayHomeWriMo. Supposedly it'll be seven weekdays' worth of self-care checklists to help us through this difficult time. Here is day 1:
April is Camp NaNoWriMo, plus the new NaNo site allows you to set up a project for any time of the year. So you could start your project now, or use StayHomeWriMo as prep time to get ready for Camp starting in just over a week.
We'll all be spending a lot more time at home now, so why not? I think it's time for me to dust off my old work-from-home-full-time skills and see if this isn't just the push I needed to transition to freelancing full-time again.
